QUALIFICATIONS: |
The College of Science, Health and the Liberal Arts at Philadelphia University is seeking applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor to teach in the University's B.S. in Environmental Sustainability program and the general education core curriculum, beginning in August 2012. The successful candidate will be a dynamic teacher with experience in using active student learning methods in the classroom. Teaching responsibilities will include courses in renewable energy and energy policy, sustainable development, environmental politics and related sustainability topics, as well as courses in global politics for the University's core curriculum. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in organizing community-based and/or service learning projects. Salary is competitive. |
