RESPONSIBILITIES: |
Reporting to the Dean of Enrollment Management, the Director of Graduate Admissions provides strategic and operational leadership to a results-oriented graduate recruitment and enrollment program.
The Director of Graduate Admissions:
- Collaborates with the Dean of Enrollment Management, Academic Deans and Program Directors to establish annual and long-range enrollment goals
- Participates in the needs assessment and development of new programs, as well as periodic review of existing programs
- Works with Program Directors to craft targeted marketing and recruitment plans for each program
- Creates and analyzes recruitment-related data, reports and other qualitative information
- Establishes and supports departmental procedures that maximize operational efficiency and provide timely communication to prospective students
- Serves on University committees and working groups
The new Director of Graduate Admissions will be an innovative and enthusiastic leader, supervisor and collaborator with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. The ideal candidate will exercise strong decision-making ability and prioritize competing opportunities and needs. S/he will demonstrate experience in developing marketing plans, including the use of social media. Familiarity with a student information system and an understanding the role of technology in recruitment and operations are key to success in this position.
